Not perfect; just improved.

Heading in the right direction.

I have learned that we don’t have to be defined by the troubles in our lives. We don’t have to label ourselves in a negative way based on our trials. My hope is that people truly understand that, just as they say in the 12 step programs, it’s progress, not perfection. And if we are growing and learning, we are progressing.

Surrendering for Freedom.

True freedom comes from true surrender.

Freedom is a funny thing. I believe that to be truly free, you have to relinquish your own control in some way. Think about that: If we want to be free in a certain area of our lives, we have to sacrifice something in a different area. For example, if I want the freedom to have short hair, I have to sacrifice having long hair. And on a more somber note, as a country, many lives have been sacrificed so that we can live free and independent lives. True freedom that allows us to live a life that makes a difference comes with true surrender.

Destiny is calling. Are you ready?

That was a rhetorical question, you're ready.
