Tamzin Lovell-Miller: Digital Transformation in Art Masterclass explores a fascinating topic which has become so important in this unprecedented moment. Having the point of view of an arts expert who has experienced first hand what she is talking about is extremely interesting. I am an art lover and I understand what are the main difficulties many arts organisations had to face when they had to introduce digital transformation in their projects and activities or strategic plans. A digital transformation in the art world was inevitable in order to be able to engage on a different level with visitors, as Tamzin Lovell-Miller explains. I would love to know more about this topic and Tamzin Lovell-Miller's experience in bringing digital transformation into the arts.

Tamzin Lovell-Miller

Tamzin founded Artfundi, a global art management platform, in 2018. Through her background in brand and business strategy, Tamzin combined her passions to focus on digital transformation in art. She owned her own gallery and was surprised that an intuitive, digital capacity to track and manage provenance, collections and gallery databases simply didn't exist. Tamzin's deep experience in marketing, including six years at SAB Miller, is coming into play as she expands Artfundi worldwide.

Lessons from the dirt track

"Look at where you want to go, not at the bumps in the road".

Tamzin never imagined she'd be motorcycling in the outback of South Africa, but she has applied the rules of the road to her own business. To ride successfully, you have to look at the horizon in front of you; "look at where you want to go, not at the bumps in the road beneath you. If you fixate on the bumps you're going to crash. As an entrepreneur you have to keep your eyes up".
